Cain was jealous that God was more pleased with Abel’s sacrifice than with his own. He killed Abel.


David and Bathsheba

David lusted after Bathsheba and felt entitled to her, even though she was married to another man, Uriah. David plotted to have Uriah killed so he could have Bathsheba.


Elliot Rodger

Elliot drove a BMW, wore Gucci sunglasses, went to exclusive Hollywood premieres and parties. But he felt entitled to more, particularly to the affections of women. When he was not given all that he wanted (rather than earning or working for his desires), he went on a murderous rampage.
